Urban Shield drills and the 'One Worlders'

While doing a little research on Urban Shield, the huge 48+ hour SWAT training exercise going on this weekend all over in the San Francisco area, I found this interesting website, Crossfit One World, while doing a Google search on the drills. Sure to inflame the passions of patriots who might think that these drills are nothing more than exercises to bring in the New World Order, the website calls many of the participants in the exercises "One Worlders."

Crossfit One World touts itself as "the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide." CrossFit's One World webpage about Urban Shield starts with this language:
URBAN SHIELD 2009
"For 48 hours straight the weekend of 10/24-25/2009, a bunch of One Worlders and friends of One World will compete in Urban Shield 2009. It's a 48 hour non-stop competition for 27 SWAT teams from all over the world. The event is hosted by the Alameda County Sheriffs Office. Teams are evaluated on how they deal with 25 different scenarios which take place all over the San Francisco Bay Area."
See web page here

This is pretty interesting language to use as the parent company is called CrossFit Inc., and the logo on the company's main page reads 'CrossFit', not One World, yet they choose to call themselves One Worlders in this article.

More on Urban Shield

Urban Shield is one of the largest terrorism drills in the country in which armed federal, state, local and now international officers in full battle gear will train to rescuing hostages, fight bank robbers and quell terrorism at the Oakland Airport, Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, the NASA Ames Research Center and 22 other high profile sites.

This year's high profile sponsor of the event is a British mercenary company, BAE, which according to Ethics Newsline stands accused of paying millions of dollars in bribes to secure contracts in Africa and Eastern Europe. According to The Oakland Tribune, "BAE’s 'generous contributions' to Urban Shield will get the residents of Alameda County acclimated to the 'sound of gunfire and blasts' and the presence of militarized cops 'in full battle gear' roaming the streets of the Bay Area this weekend."

This year the French RAID unit — Recherche Assistance Intervention Dissuasion (Research, Assistance, Intervention, Deterrence), will be the first foreign participants involved in team drills. In the past foreign and private corporate observers or advisors were in attendance, including the infamous private military contractors Blackwater (now called Xe) and BAE, but were not team participants.

This is the third year Alameda has been hosting this event. As with so many drills one wonders if this can go 'live' in preparation for martial law. With Obama's declaration of a national emergency for the swine flu, the government has the unconstitutional authority to call out federal agencies and troops, along with private companies, to help local and state police enforce mandatory vaccinations should they get implemented.

Are we seeing the use of a phony pandemic to usher in the New World Order, and, our the nation's police forces being useful dupes to implement it?

'Rescue Me' star Daniel Sunjata's impassioned plea for a new 9/11 Investigation

September 28, 2009

Actor and 9/11 truth activist, Daniel Sunjata, gave a rousing speech from New York's Battery Park this Sunday in support of NYC CAN's New York City ballot initiative to create a new independent commission to re-investigate 9/11.

The actor who plays Franco Rivera on the critically-aclaimed television show 'Rescue Me' demanded that the city of New York respect the wishes of over 80,000 signatories who want to see a new investigation of 9/11.

Sunjata, one of many celebrities who have come out in support of 9/11 Truth over recent years, spoke of the trampling of civil liberties and the complicity of the political system in keeping the truth about what happened on 9/11 from being known.

“While the specter of 9/11 is raised repeatedly, ghoulishly, dangled before us to justify the dismemberment of our Constitution, the trampling of our civil liberties. Questioning 9/11 itself? Oh, that is strictly prohibited. Do you hear that, New York? Do you hear that, family members? Cops? Firefighters? First responders? Your government has just told you, again, again, that you are good enough to die for them, but that asking questions about the inciting event is un-American, unpatriotic and just quite simply out of bounds,” said an impassioned Sunjata.

According to a NYC CAN's media advisory, the group believes that the 9/11 Commission Report is a "disgrace" as it failed to address most of the victims family member's questions and significant details as to what happened that day and leading up to the event, and that is the reason for the ballot initiative calling for a new investigation.

So far the city is trying to kill this initiative by claiming that it doesn't have jurisdiction to investigated the greatest crime in its history. According the City Clerk, Michael McSweeney, these reasons were given:

First, the federal government has jurisdiction over an investigation into the attacks that took place on September 11 as well as the causes of those attacks. Establishing a local commission to conduct such an investigation far exceeds the proper scope and purpose of the petition process of the MHRL. Second, the petition fails to provide an adequate financing plan for the Commission as required by section 37 of the MHRL. Third, the petition's method of designating Commissioners conflicts with state laws relating to the election or appointment of public officers and the residency of public officers. Fourth, the petition overreaches in its attempt to confer a range of law enforcement and prosecutorial powers on the Commission. Fifth, the subject of this proposed amendment to the Charter does not relate to an existing Charter provision as is required by section 37.

It seems like the City of New York will try to kill the bill through bureaucratic fiat, which is done quite regularly to ballot initiatives unpopular to the status quo. Sunjata says this about the City's obstructionism:

“We have received, for our efforts, a slap in the face and a kick in the mouth. Although 80,000 New Yorkers have voice their desire, in writing, to include on November’s mayoral ballot the referendum for a new and actual investigation into 9/11, New York City has responded by taking the position that it has no jurisdiction in that matter.”

“No jurisdiction?!” he shouted. “No jurisdiction into the murder of 3,000 of its own citizens? No jurisdiction or the intent of seeking such jurisdiction. Bloomberg.”

On September 25, the legal staff of NYCCAN filed a motion to reject referee Louis Crespo's recommendation to rule in favor of the City decisions to kill the ballot initiative, and now Supreme Court Justice Edward Lehner is considering their arguments. Though October 2 was to be the deadline as to a decision on whether the petition's legality, we are still waiting to hear from the court. An appeal is planned by the NYC CAN's if the petition is rejected.
